About CurateSense

We built this to help artists, curators, and galleries

Curating an exhibition is a creative and demanding challenge. And yet the tools most curators rely on — expensive custom software, spreadsheets, Canva, Illustrator, InDesign and heavy mental math — are often cumbersome, difficult to use, or inadequate for planning and execution.

We built CurateSense to help us at the Miriam McClung Collection visualize her art in exhibits at galleries, organizations, and institutions. We needed a dedicated virtual workspace to help us proportionally map her art on every gallery wall, and see the entire show before a single painting was hung. We thought by sharing it you also would find it valuable in your planning too.

What we value

The work comes first

Our job is to stay out of your way. The software should feel invisible — the art should be what people notice.

Precision matters

A quarter-inch matters on a gallery wall. We treat dimensions, placement, and sightlines with the same care you do.

AI should assist, not replace

Our AI features suggest and organize — they never override your curatorial judgment. You're the curator; the AI is your assistant.

Accessible to everyone

From independent artists to major institutions, our tools scale to match your practice. Start small, grow naturally.
